Custom domain
If you do not want to use our .upvoty domain to share your roadmap and board(s), you can set up your custom domain.
To set up a custom domain:
Go to your Settings in the admin dashboard
Navigate to 'Custom domain'
Follow the steps to add a CNAME
You can select to what part of your UpvotPopularRoadmap widget
You can embed the complete roadmap as a widget with all the boards included within your website or application.
Go to the 'Roadmap'
Click ‘Widget’
Copy + Paste the widget code in your site or application
Share the URL where the widget is embedded with your users 🙌

If you don’t want your roadmap to be public, there are a couple of ways to hide it for users and outsiders.
1. Team-only
Completely turn off the roadmap and your Upvoty URL for everyone outside your team. Only you and your team members are able to see and work on it.
2. Team + Users
Turn off the roadmap and Upvoty domain for outsiders and only share it with users

If you do want to have your Upvoty homepage, where all of your boards are shown and linked, but don't want to share the actual roadmap, you can hide it from your home.
To remove the roadmap from your Upvoty home:
Go to your dashboard
Click 'Roadmap' in the main menu

Scroll down to 'Board posts'
Turn ON 'Hide posts' and the roadmap will be gone 🙌Few readersEndless scroll on roadmap
You can enable endless scroll for your roadmap to show all posts in 1 big overview.
To enable endless scroll:
In your dashboard, click on 'Roadmap' from the main menu
In the sub-menu, click on 'Settings'
Scroll down to 'Endless scroll' and enable it:

You can determine what view is the default "ranking" on your roadmap. You can choose between 'top voted', 'newest', and 'oldest'.
To change the default order:
In your dashboard, click on 'Roadmap' from the main menu
In the sub-menu, click on 'Settings'
Scroll down to 'Roadmap ranking' and select your default view

By default, the roadmap on the homepage of your feedback portal includes all posts from all boards. In the settings of the roadmap you can exclude boards if you want, but if you need to have a board-specific roadmap (for each board), there are 2 ways to generate and share a Board-Specific roadmap.
Widget
Go to the dashboard
Go to Boards
Click ‘Widget’
Grab the second widget (Board-Specific) and embed this into your site/application

You can change the language of your roadmap.
Go to 'Roadmap'
Go to 'Settings'
Scroll down to ‘Language’ and select a language from the drop down.

If you want to add feedback posts on your roadmap, you need to change the status of a post. It'll then automatically appear on the roadmap!
Go to a post
Select 'change status' from the admin tools and change it into one of the statuses shown on the roadmap

Besides changing the roadmap's URL, you can also give it another name.
In some cases, you don't want to name the home of your Upvoty a "roadmap" but for example just "home" or "all boards", or whatever you prefer.
To change the roadmap's name:
Go to your dashboard
Click 'Roadmap' in the main menu

You can add multiple statuses (up to 9) on your roadmap.
Go to your dashboard
Go to 'Roadmap' from the main side menu
Go to 'Status'
In here, you can add statuses from each board to the existing columns, which you can also rename and change the colors from.
If you want to add more status columns, simply click '+ADD COLUMN' and there will appear a new column for you to customize:

You can change the url of your public Upvoty domain where your roadmap is present.
Go to 'Settings'
Change the 'Dashboard URL'
